About
BEDSPACER is a crash-landed genderless alien who now lives in the closet of Mich Cervantes, a Manila, Philippines-based musician, producer, and award-winning illustrator who’s been a proponent of helping a new generation of women find and express their identity & sexuality.
Born as a “lowly scout” to serve The Sonic Order of their home planet, one who deems prophetic importance & progression in the documentation of sound, BEDSPACER has spent their life recording, synthesizing, translating and interpreting audio from all over the universe.
While BEDSPACER spends time in the closet fixing their space travel console to leave back home, Cervantes records the sounds which echo from within. Through their recorded collaborations, Cervantes and BEDSPACER learn of each other’s respective identities in this vast universe, leading the two to question what their own ideas of “home” mean, and with their shared creative efforts - slowly bridging the connection between “alien” and Earthling.
